USB code 10 error

Hi I cannot connect my tablet to my laptop (windows xp pro) via usb it connects for a moment then drops out. I am getting a code 10 error in device manager. I have uninstalled driver, reinstalled driver, updated driver but still will only connect for 20 seconds please help

Hi. Sorry to read of the difficulties you are having. Firstly, I would try another PC/laptop to see what happens. If it happens on another PC/laptop, it could point to an issue with the cable or Tablet but if it works fine, I would have a look at the article below.

The error usually relates to a driver issue which normally needs to be resolved via your computer manufacturer.

Thanks man tried it on the pc same thing, initially connects as usb mass storage little icon on the bottom and everything then just disconnects, no noise or anything. Still waiting to see if hewlet packard have a sony compatible driver but wont be holding my breath thanks again will update if I can get a fix or a cause.
