Hello everyone!

We tried out a new concept where we mainly let our community assist each other with product/feature questions in the Xperia XZ Premium board and it was a success! So, let's keep it rolling.

The purpose of this thread is to ask anything that you wish to know about the Xperia XZ1; other users owning an Xperia XZ1 and forum staff will do our best to reply! 

As an example, prior to purchasing an Xperia XZ1, you may be wondering if someone has tried out a specific third party app or feature on their XZ1, and could tell you a bit more about the compatibility and functionality as the app may important in your daily life. Staff and other users can come in and reply and let you know how it works!

The goal of this thread is to help each other out as a community. We will try to moderate this thread so that any new threads with a fitting question will instead be moved here, while we of course keep support threads the way they are now.

What about of smartlock? Because after every restart i have blank page, and smartlock don't working....

that is a bug in oreo, and it is answered repeatedly even in this thread...

just disable smart lock in "lock screen & security -> trusted services -> smart lock" in the settings app, reboot your phone, then re-enable smartlock again, then the settings are back

My XZ1 (Dec 2017, with quickcharger and AH-70 earphones in box, PL,CZ,SK edition),
Doesn't have smart call handling things in system, like on support site sony says what to do, I go there and there is no such option or even menu.
I have on mind the trick that You can answer call without touching screen and silence it turning the phone screen down to the table. It was so clear and easy in Z2 a simple smartActions tab in menu and here.. I'm trying to find it second day.. no joke!
And yes it is top version last updated itself 16 hours ago, not from India or Turkey or Vietnam, it has fingerprint sensor and both infrared lasers on front and back (checked with other cam). And it should have all the smarty things other markets have.

Oh here it is! Thank You so much... Would never thought it can be in SIM selection menu rather than Smart Activities menu.
Oh.. and I must correct my previous post.. Sorry to all, but I'm astonished with the XZ1.. The Youtube tests accorded to be tottaly false... playing games this shallow 2700 accu keeps the phone alive for to days no problem... Don't know the devices people were testing, but mine signed as XPERIA Revision 4, 2018, seems to be a master in energy saving plan... Really sony should start building electric cars.
All actions are smooth and the screen is a masterpiece, can't use more than 30% light and light sensor cause even 70% brightness gives me headache, it's xenon bulb bright.
Glad the quick charger was in box and bluetooth headphones with NFC as a gift package (but more I would prefer standard noise cancelling that were in Z2 package - NC31E).
Thing i miss much, more like a sentiment than rather a must have, is ExmorRS behave. When I used to take shots in dark/no light room evening, Z2 could brighten the scene to almost flashlight clarity, XZ1 gives me just a black-dark screen as a result in same conditions even if the camera ISO has been increased since Z2 times to almost 14000 Iso, from 8400 Z2 had. But in other places the colours XZ1 reproduces seem far away more accurate and properly recognized, when Z2 turned all lights and streets to yellow-greenish mish-mash that coudn't be corrected in PixLR or photo editor Album app has. So in all that comes I'am truly satisfied with XZ1 overall results and behave. Well not all games are working correctly and some keep crashing on title screen, but I think it's more of OREO issue than hardware itself (too many flagships have exact same Snapdragon with 4GB RAM, and 64 Gigs roms, and too many apps work correctly to say it's indeed  Xperia's fault - but I'll keep an eye on that issue).

I have a weird question 

Sometimes I feel the power button is loose, not something you see but something you feel when you gently touch the button ; it makes a "tick" noise. 

I wanted to know if others experience the same thing and whether or not I should worry about it
