Serious issues after firmware update on xperia xz3
Hi, after the latest software update (version 202 at the end) I am facing serious troubles with Bluetooth and WLAN music streaming.
Playback is interrupting several times per minute... Really annoying. Same issue in my car and at home with my yamaha avr.
I had no issues before the update.
Please fix it asap.

I don't think that somethong is wrong...In fact, I had to reconnect the headphone once but after this, everything is right, without interruptions.

If you still have issues then consider a reset of network settings.
Settings-system-reset especially Bluetooth is know for causing problems after a software update.
Even my car's manual advises to reset Bluetooth connections after a smartphone update.

I've already reconnected my phone to my car. No improvement.
The question is: why is music streaming via WLAN to my yamaha receiver also affected?

Short update:
In the meanwhile I reseted my whole phone via the companion software. The Bluetooth issue is still the same.
What to do now?
Thanks

So sorry to hear this.
Let's continue with attempts.
It's it possible to reset the device you're connecting with? If so, do. (I can do so with my sports watch)
Did you try connecting in safe mode? In safe mode 3rd party apps won't be running, just the original software.
If it's working in safe mode then you know an app is interfering.
Would you mind doing the software repair with Xperia companion again?
Battery charged at >80% and do not restore any apps you had previously installed.
A really clean machine.

I am more than disappointed. The whole reseting takes a long time. I guess the only way is to reset the phone to the factory status and not to install the update..
However, which sense does an update have, if the device gets a malfunction afterwards?
Network connection reseting, no improvement
Repair with companion, no improvement
Only original software, no improvememt
In my car there was nothing changed!!!
How can I connect in safe mode?
I left oneplus to finally have a working device. In the past Sony was known for fast and very good updates!!! But now??? No words ...

I'm having the same problem for me it started like Monday and now my Sony xz3 is no more than a paper weight. its only 3 months old in mint condition. So my issue it doesn't recognise sim card so won't connect to phone networks also WiFi its totally broken as well and Bluetooth isn't working either. And does lots of freezing and restarting to home screen. I tryed the companion software and found no difference. Please please fix Sony.

I'm sorry for you to hear of this mishap.
However there must be something that is interfering.
At the moment that 99.9% of the XZ3 devices is running fine a few users perceive these problems.
If this presumption from me of 99.9% running fine would be wrong, this forum would be flooded with complaints.
My next advise for you is to read the troubleshooting guide carefully
There you will find very much information, amongst which how to get into safe mode and how to do a software repair.
Don't be disappointed.
Don't use the device as a paper weight but keep trying.
There is a way out.
I have been trying to brick several devices, did root most of them, ended up with the weirdest screens telling me that the device was corrupt, but in the end Xperia Companion was always able to get everything right again.
