my XZ2C has some month the problem that sometimes during operation the whole touchscreen becomes unresponsive (volume buttons still work, so phone is not frozen). I can wake up the touch screen when pressing the power button and unlocking the phone again afterwards, therefore I always thought of a software issue.
I tried updating to Android 10, wiping all data and doing a Software Repair, removing the protective cover near the sensors. So far the issue did always come back after some days. Currently i wiped everywhing, removed the SD card and did not install any third party app at all to see if any app might cause this issue.
I also contacted the support guys, who told me the phone is still under warranty but i have to send in the purchase receipt stating the IMEI of the phone (which I do not have, as there is no IMEI printed on). I am also a little afraid the service guys might not be able to reproduce it, as I am not able to reproduce it really by myself and it only occours every 2nd day or so.
Any advice who I should proceed with this issue?
