What happened to Xperia Actions?

I changed from Xperia Premium to Xperia XZ3 and I´m really disapponted.

With Xperia XZ3 I lost Xperia Actions, the one and only way to start/stop  airplane mode automatically by time and location. Sony, Why do you strip all this good functions of your phones.

If I want a pure android phone I can buy Google Pixel.

Will this feature come back? Is there any substitution without using google assistant which wil collect all my data, or without rooting?

I hope they haven't. I had an XZ Premium before, it was an icon if I remember. On the XZ2 Premium, they moved Xperia Actions to Xperia Assist, and no longer a dedicated icon.

Drop down setting > Gear settings > Xperia Assist > Xperia Actions

Let me know if you find it. Or it really is gone?

Thank you fort this tip, but it´s gone. There is Xperia Assist, but without actions. I´m really sad, because I used it every day.

Oh shoo, I do too. I noticed Xperia Actions seems to be missing from the Xperia XZ3 online userguide.

This is so annoying, with all the hands on reviews at IFA 2018 and all the press review units; no one mention that Xperia Actions was missing.

Have you tried downloading Xperia Assist?

Would be nice to have it back. Such a usefull feature. I was able to mute my phone for while at work. And unmute when i left. Without having to do anthing.

I know there are other options out on the play store. But they are either bloated to **bleep**, or full of ads.

Xperia XZ3 is supposed to be about implementing AI Touch Sense. Future of AI to know what app you want next. I always end up sliding up and then right, to look at the left "Last Searched App" panel. Hopefully, that section will convert to Touch Sense. for those who don't have the XZ3, or for those that turn off the double tap feature; yet still get to use the AI feature.

I like Xperia Actions, built in-house. I think Automation is just as important as AI. Automated actions is predictable because we setup the parameters ourselves.

I am not kidding when I say: They used the functionality, called it "AI" and now do the stuff with different wording. Think about it.

Sorry, but AI is just a marketing phrase. I think in most cases AI implementations are more like AD. Artificial Dumbness. AI Feature are mostly used to grab more data from users. I don´t want any AI and I turn them of if I can.

This dumb Phone often starts camera mode if I get it out of my pocket. That´s crazy. I´m not a dumb little boy getting my phone out of my pocket every few minutes to take a photo. So i turned this feature of.

But to get back to my initial question: What hapend to Xperia Actions SONY? Please answer this!
