XZ1 Compact GPS not working after Android PIE update

After upgrading to Android Pie 9 2 days ago, GPS stop working. Italian firmware

Found a temporary fix for issue. Cleared cache and data + force stopped locationservices /location service. Had instant gps fix on waze. Related or not, but noticed many "location" included services and other have exatly same size (35,57mb) on my phone.

After update to 47.2.a.10.107 it seems that GPS is working better. I tested indoor and it's raining.  Fast 3D fix and good accuracy. Can anyone test and confirm that too?

I don't know yet, but this update is just a security patch

I have this week discoverd that my GPS now, works perfektly! I dont know what updates that have been installed, I havn't done anything,  but last friday, when I was out Running, tracking with my Phone and the app "Avenza"! It worked fine!

Today I was in our community head building and Google maps located my almost before The app was fully on! 😁 

So my problem solved, so far!

Today another new version update was anounced!!?? Shoud I dare to update. Since my GPS is tracking good now. The new version is for Sweden, 47.2.A.10.107, previous ...10.80.

Yes, I updated and I almost didnt dare to start google maps after that. But eventualy....and it worked. I have also been out in my trainingarea logging my activity. And it still worked. 

I dont know what is done, or who made it happen. But my ZX1C (G8441) is now a complete phone! I´m happy!

It's funny... I've got the same problem. I have tried everything but no positive results. I think that Sony is blocking gps in firmware. Every applications besides Google dont work with gps but if you go to Google localization to history you can see that gps works perfectly!

In my case, if I touch the top left side I improve the sensitivity of the GPS receiver.

My #XZ1C was working quite fine until next week, when I installed 47.2.A.10.107 update

Since then I have no GPS most of the time. Clearing cache or reseting does not help.

So for me quite the opposite experience so far.
