This has maybe something to do with powersaving. I have the stamina mode on. Is there a way to make the camera wait longer until it closes itself?
There isn't any error messages and I don't think that it's b/c of overheating, 10-15 seconds is such a short time and I dont have any problems if I just start using the camera immediately.
Sorry for bad English, not my first language.

I think that when you access the camera from lock screen, it should close itself after 30 seconds or something like that. Meanwhile in other scenarios (when you open it normally) it should stay on for about 3 minutes .
@Hampus knows the exact details.

Thank you alexdon and Hampus. I just have to start the camera from the main menu, not the quick launch button.
For lazy people having the same problem (copypasted from alexdon´s link):
"Hi,
That is correct. If you open the camera with the quick launch button or from the locked screen, it will close automatically after 30 seconds. And if you open it manually without the quick launch button, it will be open for 3 minutes."

What's the point of a hot-button, if the app turns off exactly 0,5-1,0 seconds before you take the picture? It's nothing but provoking, and to not add an option for this is insanity. I loved the fact that I could turn on the camera app without taking my eyes off the subject, but it was all just a trick. I guess I'll have to go for a Samsung next time. Sony can get money from me through Playstation only.

How do you stop the camera from closing after a few minutes and make it stay open until I decide t close it?
