Hello - i am elderly and unused to this camera but I bought it today and set it all up ok I believe (there is not much info on the instruction sheet with the camera and I cannot seem to download a FULL manual if there is one)
There are just a couple of things I just can not seem to manage - please reply in simple terms!
1. Think I understand the menu button but there is a wheel around it that turns - what is this for as I cannot see any markings?
2. I took some basic shots and they were there on the memory card which I bought and put in. Found how to delete them one by one but how do you delete all the photos at once?
3. On my previous Lumix camera there was a wheel on top with options to go from auto to things such as macro etc and I can't seem to find that on this one - is it somewhere in the menu?
4. There are lots of different icons and words on the screen when I switch it on. Is the any way I can get rid of most of these so the screen is clear say except for battery charge and perhaps a couple of others?
Thanks everyone for your help. The camera seems very nice and much smaller than my previous Lumix.

if there is a manual, you find it here: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/compact-cameras-dsc-wx-series/dsc-wx220#manuals

Here you can find anything about the so called "Control Wheel": https://helpguide.sony.net/gbmig/45300681/v1/en/search/search.html?search=Control%20wheel

You can either format the memory card or select multiple images to delete like explained here: https://helpguide.sony.net/gbmig/45300681/v1/en/contents/TP0000508294.html?search=Control%20wheel

You should be able to press "DISP" on the control wheel to change the overlay.

Thanks so much for that Nic and replying so quickly.
I understand now regarding all my questions and thanks to you I have found and downloaded the full manual - what came in the camera box was not much help!
Thanks again

May i just ask the Community a couple more questions as although I have read right through the full manual I still cannot understand how to add and delete icons from the viewfinder - can anyone tell me in simple terms what to do!
What I currently have on my viewfinder when I first switch on is -
1/30 F3.3 ISO auto which are ok of course
There is a also a little green man? which appears and disappears which I think is supposed to - what is it?
There is an annoying Histogram (black oblong) bottom right. Can I remove this at all?
Also how do I show the battery status permanently in the viewfinder ?
Otherwise the camera is great!!
Thanks everyone

Thanks Manolo I understand now!
Have removed the Histogram using Disp and scrolling as you said - great.
Same with the battery remain time.
Re. the green man. It is indeed the man with 2 lines next to it and is a Screen Regognition Icon. It is the 3rd in from the left in that line in the manual and I have noticed that it appears and disappears as I move the camera around and understand it appears in Int. Auto mode which I have my camera set to - so no problems there. I still do not know what the function is but the camera works fine and I am getting good photos in most lights.
Thanks again
