BDV-N7200W turn on by itself

I have the BDV-N7200W and quite often during the night it turns on by itself. I turned off the setting for automatic notification of new firmware versions and it did seem to help. But lately the system is back to its old habits...

Hi, I had the same problem, then someone told me to turn the synch off on my tv ( which was an LG ) I think it was called CMC or something like that and that worked for me. Hope this helps.

I agree with muvoda, the feature is called CEC and on Sony devices it's Control for HDMI/Bravia Sync.

I haven't had a chance to look deeper in my Samsung tv, but with a quick look I couldn't find this setting.

Hi,

Usually the option to power on another external device connected by an HDMI cable is a feature in the TV. I do not think the unit has the capability of powering on by itself.
