XZ3 : notifications while in call is loud and causing hearing damage

While I am on a call particularly on a cellular network call, in parallel when I receive a message or WhatsApp. The notification is heard too loud and this is hurting my ears.

The sound feels like switicing from high tone to low tone.

How can I reduce the in call notification volume.. I reduced the media volume, ring tone and notification volume . Nothing helped. Save my ear please, seriously it hurts.

I've received a reply from Sony now, see below:

"We regret the late feedback in your case. After a closer examination of the problem you are experiencing, we have now found the cause of the high notification sound during calls. This is something that will be addressed in an upcoming software update."

Problem is still there

@sony can you please fix it?

They haven't released the software update yet.

Last reply to me from Sony was on monday 11.2.2019. "You might experience that you hear a loud notification sound when receiving a message during a phone call. This is a known issue that will be fixed in a future software update."

I hope that they fix this bug asap.

I've got an update a few days ago, 52.0.A.3.202. and the problem is solved. Now I get a silent beep of notifications during the call. Thanks Sony!

My software version is still 52.0.A.3.163. I hope that Sony gets that version to here (Finland) soon.

Xperia xz2 had same issue. And xperia xz3 has same chipset and lot of simular stuf like xz2. So it has same problem. Lot of users of xz3 have that speaker problem. Crackling sound when play media also over bluetooth speaker ect. Also people with xz2 send phone for repair or replacment and problem would stay on new device or replaced speaker. Think its a bug that sony cant fix. Maby if someone have rooted xz3 so he can send catlog we would know more and ask some dev for fix.
